This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.
• Evaluate organizational and training requirements while assisting franchisees in developing scalable onboarding, certification, coaching, and leadership-development systems.
• Convert market and network expansion strategies into targeted training priorities, support plans, milestones, and routines.
• Collaborate with New Restaurant Opening teams and franchisees on pre-opening preparations, training plans, leadership readiness, execution during the opening, and stabilization after opening.
• Utilize restaurant observations, business reviews, guest and operational insights, along with training data, to pinpoint capability gaps and propose practical solutions.
• Enhance the capabilities of franchisees, Above Restaurant Leaders, Restaurant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Network Trainers through coaching, facilitation, and development planning.
• Assist franchisees in developing self-sustaining training systems that include clear ownership, standards, tools, and accountability.
• Lead or assist in training for national and regional initiatives, which encompass products, technology, guest experience, food safety, operational processes, and leadership programs.
• Coordinate training support across Franchisee Growth, Operations, Marketing, Development, New Restaurant Opening, and Analytics.
• Monitor adoption, readiness, certification, and performance indicators; provide insights and modify support based on outcomes and market maturity.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent experience in restaurant and/or retail management, coupled with training, human resource, or multi-unit management experience.
• 5-7 years of experience in restaurant or retail training, multi-unit operations, franchise consulting, organizational development, new restaurant openings, or a related field.
• Experience in coaching franchisees and above-restaurant leaders is preferred.
• Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Must establish credibility and foster trusting relationships.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Project management abilities.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Capacity to influence and persuade without formal authority.
• Strategic thinker with robust problem-solving skills.
• Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, or equivalent software.
• Ability to conduct meetings and facilitate effective and engaging training sessions both in-person and virtually.
• Strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience in change management.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Recognizes and provides feedback on improved and innovative methods to achieve objectives.
• Aids in identifying and resolving project-related risks and issues.
• Approximately 70-90% travel is required, with the possibility of spending up to 5 consecutive nights away from home.
