Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Deliver onsite product support to contracted customer accounts, which encompasses logistics, deployments, onsite troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and software upgrades.

• Offer product support both onsite and via telephone.

• Assist customers with the application of equipment.

• Escalate customer-related issues to CQA Regional Management.

• Troubleshoot onsite and coordinate with ZOLL Tech Support to document service and support activities.

• Conduct onsite preventive maintenance for devices and accounts covered under service agreements.

• Deploy to or execute preventive maintenance for other regional customers as directed by the Manager.

• Maintain customer-specific information pertinent to service activities.

• Prepare monthly status reports for customers.

• Secure and uphold test equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration and rotation schedules.

• Complete special projects as assigned.

• Participate in customer meetings alongside service management and CQA regional managers to address concerns and develop action plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree (minimum of 2 years) or equivalent work experience is required.

• Previous experience working with external customers is preferred.

• A valid driver’s license is required.

• A credit card in good standing for travel-related expenses is necessary.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Ability to meet defined objectives is required.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Strong organizational skills are necessary.

• Experience with computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

• Candidates must reside within the Michigan and Indiana territory.

• Up to 90% travel may be necessary based on business needs.

• Must be able to meet the physical demands listed, including constant standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination.

• Ability to work under specified environmental conditions, which may include occasional extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet conditions, and frequent noise.
