This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Offer technical assistance to address network performance challenges and aid in outage resolution efforts.
• Oversee smaller projects or segments of larger projects, providing precise status and progress updates.
• Identify and propose enhancements to processes related to maintenance and repair tasks.
• Assist in the creation of job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation.
• Complete necessary training to stay informed about systems, products, and organizational standards.
• Enhance technical skills through ongoing learning and training opportunities.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and projects as assigned.
• Support network operations throughout Central and Western Nebraska to sustain and enhance network performance and reliability.
• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Required).
• Vocational/Technical Training or related field (Preferred).
• 2–4 years of experience in Field Operations and maintenance.
• 2–4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field.
• Knowledge of electronics and interconnecting circuits, including RF transmitters, antenna systems, AAV, fiber, microwave radio, AC-DC power systems, and AI.
• Practical understanding of Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture, components, and operations.
• Familiarity with wireless backhaul technologies and configurations, including microwave and fiber solutions.
• Experience with or willingness to learn RAN equipment and 5G NR standards.
• Basic knowledge of base station equipment, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Ongoing training, certifications, and hands-on experience in telecommunications.
• Awareness of disaster recovery protocols and contingency plans.
• Capability to identify, diagnose, and resolve network issues across both hardware and software systems.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute field assignments while managing time, resources, and priorities.
• Proficiency in providing hands-on technical assistance and field-level support.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar productivity tools.
• Understanding of Internet Protocol and willingness to utilize AI-driven tools.
• Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company-assigned vehicle.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Flexibility to work various hours, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and participate in an on-call rotation every four weeks.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Travel is required.
