Field Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kansas, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical support to address network performance challenges.

• Participate in efforts to resolve outages.

• Oversee smaller projects or segments of larger projects.

• Provide precise status updates and reports on progress.

• Identify and suggest improvements in processes related to maintenance and repair tasks.

• Aid in the creation of job aids, scopes of work, and procedural documentation in collaboration with senior technicians.

• Complete necessary training to stay updated with systems, products, and organizational standards.

• Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned by management.

• Enhance and sustain network performance and reliability.

• Offer technical support and contribute to improvements in operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience considered equivalent (Required).

• Vocational/Technical Training or a related field (Preferred).

• 2-4 years of experience in Field Operations and maintenance (Preferred).

• 2-4 years of experience in wireless telecommunications or a related field (Preferred).

• Familiarity with 5G New Radio (NR) (Required).

• Understanding of Base Station technology (Required).

• Knowledge of Continuous Development principles (Required).

• Experience with Disaster Recovery Planning (Required).

• Proficiency in Network Troubleshooting (Required).

• Knowledge of Project Management processes (Required).

• Familiarity with Radio Access Networks (RAN) (Required).

• Experience in Technical Support (Required).

• Understanding of Wireless Backhaul (Required).

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Willingness to travel; travel is required.

• This is a DOT-regulated position.

• Candidates should reside in north-central Missouri to northeast Kansas or be willing to relocate at the time of hire.
