Field Service Technician – 100% Travel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct and provide training on significant component replacements and repair services throughout the Invenergy fleet.

• Guarantee that operations and maintenance tasks are executed safely in accordance with Invenergy's policies and procedures.

• Travel away from home for four-week periods, followed by one week off.

• Act as a representative of Invenergy and the Field Service Group to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across various equipment platforms.

• Educate site personnel on safety protocols, preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and the Operations Support System.

• Lead teams in executing major component replacements and repairs across diverse equipment platforms and component manufacturers.

• Troubleshoot intricate electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic challenges.

• Comprehend the electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic operations of multiple equipment platforms.

• Conduct equipment and site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports.

• Fulfill daily and monthly reporting obligations.

• Draft and update procedures and documents for component replacements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of one (1) year of technical experience (mechanical, electrical, etc.) and/or relevant technical education.

• High School diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Capability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.

• Ability to climb ladders independently.

• Capacity to lift and handle weights up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).

• Possession of a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.

• Ability to work at heights exceeding 80 meters (250 feet).

• Weight must not surpass 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding job-related equipment/gear.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• A negative drug test result is necessary before commencing work.

• Preferred: Two (2) years of technical experience and/or technical education in relation to renewable energy systems.

• Preferred: Strong interest and comprehension of electrical and mechanical systems.

• Preferred: Experience with multiple platforms.

• Preferred: Ability to effectively utilize software systems for troubleshooting.

• Preferred: Capacity to work safely with minimal supervision.

• Preferred: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Preferred: Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products.
