This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Install, repair, upgrade, and conduct preventative maintenance on designated Carl Zeiss Meditec instrumentation within a specified field service territory.

• Act as a representative of Carl Zeiss Meditec at customer sites, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Oversee company-owned assets, which include inventory, tools, diagnostic equipment, and vehicle, in accordance with company policies.

• Diagnose and repair assigned products within the designated service territory.

• Carry out preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades following training, manuals, and Carl Zeiss Meditec guidelines.

• Schedule, create, verify, and adjust customer visits based on their needs.

• Complete and submit daily field service reports.

• Complete and submit weekly expense reports.

• Maintain the spare parts inventory and return specified spare parts in line with policy.

• Support revenue growth through the promotion and retention of service agreements.

• Engage professionally with customers.

• Provide instruction to customers on equipment operation and maintenance as necessary.

• Communicate effectively with team members, customers, management, Sales, and Technical Support.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Electronics, Fine Mechanics, Optics, or Medical Field Service.

• A Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or Computer Technology and related fields is preferred.

• A+ and Net+ certifications are preferred.

• Capability to analyze challenging customer issues and produce satisfactory outcomes for customer satisfaction.

• Must be self-motivated, able to work independently with minimal management supervision.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Proficient computer skills are required.

• Must successfully complete required training to service fine mechanics and optics.

• Ability to effectively service equipment on which training has been completed.

• Strong project and time management skills are necessary.
