This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with account teams to assess customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies.
• Design and recommend customized infrastructure solutions that align with customer business goals.
• Establish and nurture technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners.
• Remain informed about the latest product developments.
• Deliver product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
• Serve as a trusted IT advisor for clients alongside Field Account Executives.
• Oversee the solution practice pipeline by formulating strategies for key prospects and securing new business.
• Identify technological opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services.
• Create solutions that meet customer requirements and budget constraints through strategic planning.
• Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, CTOs, and other client stakeholders for thorough account management.
• Train and develop sales teams on technical selling, product education, services, and technology trends.
• A completed Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is mandatory.
• 3-5 years of experience in a comparable role is required.
• Proven experience in managing complex Data Center sales opportunities.
• Capability to design data center infrastructures, including hybrid cloud, hyper-converged, SDDC, infrastructure/platform as a service, automation, containerization, and Data Center Management Platforms.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, hypervisors, server virtualization, SDDC, containerization, and automation.
• Proficiency in communicating and selling complex technical products or services.
• Expertise in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, and Nutanix.
• Background in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, and High Availability Solutions.
• Willingness to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
• Advanced certification in one or more mainstream technologies is preferred.
• Residency in California is required.
