Field Service Technician – Medical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install, service, repair, and maintain Baxter/Hillrom products.

• Identify and rectify equipment issues promptly.

• Develop and sustain robust relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

• Offer technical assistance to customers and patients, ensuring all activities are accurately recorded in the service system.

• Timely and precise completion of service reports and work orders.

• Maintain and document assigned calibration and testing equipment.

• Serve as a reliable technical resource for customers, account managers, and colleagues.

• Assist in tender submissions and contracts by providing technical expertise.

• Participate in necessary training to uphold product knowledge and technical proficiency.

• Monitor service metrics to enhance customer experience and service delivery.

• Provide support to customers across the Midlands, South, and South West of Ireland.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification, apprenticeship, trade background, or relevant hands-on experience.

• Strong practical skills in fault-finding and problem-solving.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively.

• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

• Basic IT proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.

• A full driving license is required.

• Experience in servicing, repairing, or maintaining technical equipment is preferred.

• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, or electro-mechanical systems is desirable.

• Experience in a customer-facing technical position is advantageous.

• Understanding of networking, connectivity, or device integration is a plus.

• Previous experience with medical devices is not necessary; comprehensive product training will be provided.
