Field Service Technician – Laser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee the comprehensive equipment installation process at client locations

• Utilize hand tools and perform climbing, bending, and stooping during installations

• Prepare daily status and service reports

• Generate weekly expense reports

• Operate applications and software while performing part programming

• Instruct customers on equipment usage and applications

• Employ Amada applications software for line control and part programming

• Offer service and support across all facets of the customer's machine ownership experience

• Engage in regular travel within designated territories, including occasional overnight stays

• Report to the Regional Service Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• Skilled in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, control systems, and networks

• Capable of accurately following layout drawings and blueprints for equipment installation

• Proficient in communication in the English language

• Exceptional customer relations and follow-through skills

• Competence in operation, applications, software, and part programming

• Experience with Amada applications software for line control and part programming

• Regular travel required within assigned territories

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• A 4-year degree in Electronics or a minimum of a 2-year degree with relevant work experience is preferred

• Competence in analyzing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, optical, and electrical systems

• Ability to utilize hand tools, a Volt/Ohm meter, and an oscilloscope

• Familiarity with computers and Windows operating system

• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings

• Routine travel within designated territories, including occasional overnight stays

• Territory: Columbus, OH

• Proficiency in Spanish is not required
