Field Service Technician, Lab Weighing, Lab Water

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute the commissioning and qualification of equipment.

• Arrange appointments with clients and verify the feasibility of the required tasks.

• Conduct troubleshooting and maintenance visits.

• Provide assistance to customers via phone, identifying the necessary spare parts and tools.

• Organize service interventions based on the urgency and location of the customer.

• Document the schedule in the shared planning calendar.

• Collaborate with the Team Leader to ensure timely preparation of renewal quotations and delivery of services on the anniversary date.

• Advocate for service offerings and communicate requests for new contracts or extensions.

• Represent Sartorius and supply the Sales team with insights regarding potential sales of Sartorius products.

• Travel to customer locations to carry out metrology and/or maintenance services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in field service and maintaining/qualifying laboratory equipment is preferred.

• A two-year post-secondary diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Bioanalysis and Quality Control, Physical Measurements, or Maintenance of Laboratory Instrumentation.

• Proficiency in written English, primarily for reading purposes.

• Familiarity with office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

• This position demands a strong motivation for customer interaction and field service work.

• A significant level of autonomy is necessary for this role.
