Field Service Technician – Industrial Labeling Machines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct visits to customer locations to verify the performance and dependability of industrial labeling machines and automated labeling systems.

• Set up and commission automatic labeling machines.

• Provide training for customers’ operators and maintenance personnel.

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.

• Identify mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues.

• Repair machinery to ensure compliance with standards.

• Document service interventions through detailed reports.

• Offer ongoing technical support and guidance to customers.

• Collect field data and contribute to initiatives for continuous improvement.

• Manage an inventory of dedicated spare parts.

• Primarily operate in the Northwest region, with occasional travel across the country and some international trips.

• Report directly to the Technical Department.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical education ranging from a vocational diploma to a two-year higher technical qualification in fields such as electrical engineering, electromechanics, industrial maintenance, automated industrial maintenance, or a related area.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in field service for industrial machinery, including special-purpose machinery, packaging, and labeling.

• Exceptional ability to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.

• Proficiency in working with technical drawings (PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP).

• Proficient technical English is essential.

• A valid Category B driving license is required.

• Willingness to travel, including 1 to 4 overnight stays each week.

• Self-driven, meticulous, customer-oriented, and possesses strong interpersonal abilities.

• Extensive technical knowledge and robust analytical skills.
