Field Service Technician – Industrial Bandsaws

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Diagnose and address minor repairs, alignment, and calibration of equipment.

• Execute product performance and trial assessments to ensure optimal product efficiency.

• Collaborate with Territory Account Manager(s) to oversee the territory and identify target opportunities.

• Manage service and maintenance requests for current customers.

• Utilize SFDC to gather and maintain information regarding products, machines, materials, end users, and distribution channels.

• Participate in trade shows and seminars to stay informed about cutting-edge technology.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot distributor welding equipment as needed.

• Inspire distributors and guide distributor sales staff to emphasize technical services as a value-added offering.

• Recognize end-user applications and suggest cost-effective product options for sawing operations.

• Organize and execute technical product and application solutions.

• Familiarize yourself with and apply The Lenox Advantage, Site Survey Process, and reporting tools.

• Persuade customers of the benefits of LENOX products through product trials and price-versus-cost demonstrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair and/or practical experience in a shop production setting or equivalent.

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Familiarity with hydraulic, electric, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is advantageous.

• Technical and mechanical skills to operate tools and machinery effectively.

• Prior experience in industrial sales is preferred.
