This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan, +1 more state.
• Install autonomous vehicles along with associated equipment, such as chargers, I/O panels, and operator interfaces.
• Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation procedures.
• Travel to customer locations both domestically and internationally.
• Modify both equipment and software as necessary.
• Diagnose issues in electrical, mechanical, and software system components.
• Implement adjustments to software and hardware.
• Monitor performance metrics of the system.
• Deliver training to customers.
• Engage with clients effectively.
• Collaborate with fellow engineers on various projects.
• A BS or BSET in Engineering (such as Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
• At least 2+ years of full-time engineering experience is required.
• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Prior software experience is necessary; knowledge of C, C++, MATLAB, Python, and Visual Basic is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Must reside in or near Detroit, MI, or Chalfont, PA; other locations may also be considered.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for 60–75% of the time.
