Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Service and repair electromechanical devices, such as ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and system overhauls.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations.

• Manage network faults, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues, addressing challenges proactively whenever possible.

• Interact with customers in a transparent, supportive, and professional manner aimed at resolution.

• Engage in virtual and hands-on training programs offered by NCR Atleos.

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving requirements.

• Undertake other related tasks consistent with qualifications and business needs.

• May be reassigned to nearby service territories during regular shifts to fulfill operational requirements.

• May opt to participate in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate residing in the specific geographic area.

• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• At least 19 years of age.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a driving record that complies with NCR Atleos fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and operating system knowledge.

• Capability to perform essential job functions without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel, including several hours of driving per day.

• Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unaided.

• Capacity to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements while manipulating objects of various sizes.

• Preferred: Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• Preferred: A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification.
