This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Install autonomous vehicles and associated equipment, such as chargers, I/O panels, and operator interfaces.

• Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation procedures.

• Travel to customer locations both domestically and internationally, approximately 60–75% of the time.

• Modify both equipment and software as needed.

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to electrical, mechanical, and software system components.

• Identify and pursue resources to address areas for improvement.

• Implement adjustments to software and hardware.

• Track system performance metrics.

• Provide training to customers.

• Interact with customers effectively.

• Collaborate with fellow engineers on various projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, etc.) is preferred, though not mandatory.

• At least 2+ years of full-time engineering work experience is required.

• Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

• Previous software experience is mandatory.

• Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C++, MATLAB, Python, or Visual Basic is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications.

• Strong ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

• Candidates must reside in Michigan; other locations may be considered.
