Field Service Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop in-depth knowledge and become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Flow Cytometry instruments, including Clinical Cell Analyzers and Research Cell Analyzers.

• Offer both field-based and remote technical assistance to clients and team members.

• Execute preventative maintenance, installation, relocation, repairs, and corrective field change orders on Flow Cytometry equipment.

• Identify and troubleshoot electrical, fluidic, mechanical, hardware, software, and laser issues.

• Evaluate cost-effective repair options or solutions to reduce downtime.

• Conduct instrument certifications (IQ/OQ).

• Oversee car stock and ensure the availability of spare parts and tools.

• Handle technical escalations effectively.

• Strive to meet service metrics established by the Service Organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or significant relevant experience as a Field Service Engineer.

• Possession of a valid US driving license.

• Residing within a daily commutable distance of Downtown Atlanta, Georgia.

• Proficient IT knowledge.

• Experience in Flow Cytometry is advantageous.

• Background in the Telecoms, Robotics, Automation, and Medical Devices sectors.

• Capability to assimilate knowledge across various modular and diverse product lines.

• Strong aptitude for delivering exceptional customer service.

• Flexibility to work evenings as required by job responsibilities.

• Willingness to travel to and from customer sites daily.

• Capability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
