Field Service Technician II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and efficient manner

• Service and repair electromechanical devices, such as ATMs and self-checkout systems, within a designated region

• Carry out scheduled maintenance, corrective repairs, and comprehensive system overhauls

• Identify and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system configurations

• Manage network malfunctions, system access, security settings, and remote connectivity

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns, proactively addressing issues when feasible

• Engage with customers in a transparent, supportive, and professional manner with a focus on resolution

• Take part in both virtual and hands-on training programs offered by NCR Atleos

• Adhere to NCR Atleos policies, including Shared Values, Code of Conduct, health and safety standards, accurate timekeeping, and fleet and safe driving regulations

• Undertake other related responsibilities that align with qualifications and business needs

• May be assigned to neighboring service territories during standard shifts to fulfill operational requirements

• May choose to take part in overnight travel assignments to enhance service coverage

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate from the specific geographic region

• One (1) or more years of relevant experience

• Authorized to work in the United States

• At least 19 years of age

• Valid driver’s license and driving record that complies with NCR Atleos fleet standards

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiarity with operating systems

• Capable of performing essential job functions without reasonable accommodation, including extended travel with several hours of driving each day

• Willingness to work rotating and weekend shifts

• Able to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance

• Capacity to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements with various-sized objects

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or Network+ (N+) Certification
