Field Service Technician I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Execute installations, maintenance, and service calls at customer premises.

• Manage electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Perform maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and system refurbishment tasks.

• Communicate effectively, courteously, and professionally as the primary point of contact for customers.

• Organize and prioritize customer requests efficiently.

• Proactively address potential issues before they arise.

• Utilize formal NCR Voyix training to provide timely solutions for customers.

• Act as a brand ambassador for NCR Voyix.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside locally within the specified geographic region.

• Authorized to travel within the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver's license with a driving record that complies with NCRV fleet standards.

• Proficient in computer skills, basic electronics knowledge, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving for several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexible schedule, accommodating morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs unassisted and up to 150 lbs with assistance.

• Capable of bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, using hands, and repeatedly performing grasping and handling motions.

• Preferred: Knowledge of high-capacity servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• Preferred: A+, CompTIA, or N+ certifications.

• Preferred: One year or more of relevant experience.
