Field Service Technician – Electromechanics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide effective on-site field service while adhering to budgetary and scheduling goals.

• Ensure peak performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Partner with internal teams to enhance customer support procedures.

• Install and configure TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer customers thorough training on the operation and maintenance of our systems.

• Keep precise and comprehensive field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up activities.

• Primarily engage with customers in the designated region while occasionally providing support across France.

• Manage tasks between customer site visits and remote work during non-travel periods.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at BAC+2 level (two-year post-secondary degree) in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in both preventive and corrective on-site maintenance.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international travel, and to work flexible hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networks, and computer setup.

• Valid driver's license.

• Capability to build and sustain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.

• Proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
