Field Service Technician – Electromechanics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Efficiently execute field service operations while adhering to budgetary and scheduling objectives.

• Ensure maximum performance of TOMRA Food sorting machinery to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and rectify equipment-related problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer support workflows.

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer customers thorough training on the operation and upkeep of our systems.

• Maintain precise and detailed field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up processes.

• Primarily engage with customers within the designated region, with occasional support across France.

• Coordinate activities between customer-site engagements and home-based work when travel is not scheduled.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical diploma equivalent to two years of post-secondary education (Bac+2) in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related area.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend both spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, predominantly within France, with potential international travel, and to work flexible hours.

• Strong understanding of IT, networks, and computer configuration.

• Valid driver’s license required.

• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
