Field Service Technician – Electromechanics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install and set up sorting equipment at client locations.

• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.

• Educate operators and maintenance teams.

• Offer technical knowledge and guidance to clients.

• Represent TOMRA to clients, enhancing service quality.

• Arrange remote work between service engagements.

• Prepare for client visits, document service reports, and update technical documentation.

• Provide remote support as needed.

• Primarily work in Brittany and adjacent regions.

• Occasionally assist in other areas of France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at Bac+2 level or higher in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing electrical issues and troubleshooting electromechanical systems.

• Proficiency in French and effective communication skills in English within a technical and professional context.

• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of industrial machinery in a customer-focused setting.

• Experience in field service, maintenance at customer locations, commissioning, installation, or field technical support is a significant asset.

• Strong IT skills, particularly in PC systems, networks, and network configuration.

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to cultivate long-term trust-based relationships.

• A valid Category B driving license is required.
