Field Service Technician, Electromechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Install and commission sorting machinery at client locations

• Execute maintenance and troubleshooting tasks

• Provide training for operators and maintenance teams

• Offer technical expertise and guidance to customers

• Represent TOMRA to clients and enhance service quality

• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service tasks

• Prepare for customer visits from a home office

• Document service activities in reports

• Update technical documentation as required

• Offer remote assistance when necessary

• Primarily work in Brittany and surrounding areas

• Occasionally assist in other regions of France

⛳️ Requirements

• At least a two-year technical degree (Bac+2) in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, electronics, or a related field

• Hands-on experience in diagnosing electrical issues and troubleshooting electromechanical systems

• Fluency in French

• Proficient communication skills in English within a technical and professional context

• Demonstrated experience in preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repair of industrial equipment in a customer-oriented setting

• Strong IT skills, especially with PC systems, networks, and their configurations

• Experience in field service, customer-site maintenance, installation, commissioning, or technical support is a significant advantage

• Customer-service oriented with excellent interpersonal skills

• Valid Category B driving license required
