Field Service Technician – Electromechanical

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide effective field service that aligns with cost and scheduling goals.

• Ensure the TOMRA Food sorting machines operate at peak performance to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve equipment-related problems, executing the necessary repairs.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer customers thorough training on how to operate and maintain our systems.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to aid in administrative follow-up procedures.

• Primarily assist customers within the designated region, with occasional support throughout France.

• Coordinate activities between on-site customer visits and remote work during non-travel periods.

• Expect to travel around 80% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at EQF Level 5 / two-year post-secondary level (Bac+2) in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a similar field.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this position.

• Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

• Demonstrated experience in preventive and corrective maintenance at customer locations.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international travel, and to work flexible hours.

• Strong understanding of IT, computer networks, and computer setup.

• Valid driving license is required.

• Capacity to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
