Field Service Technician – Coffee/Espresso

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.

📋 Description

• Professional, courteous, and driven to provide top-notch service.

• 24-hour reactive service that includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing, and resolving equipment issues.

• Deliver prompt and efficient services to ensure customer satisfaction and optimal product performance, which includes timely repairs, installation, removal of commercial restaurant equipment, scheduled preventive maintenance, and cleaning.

• Show the ability to stay updated on all equipment education while continuously expanding technical skills and understanding of operational theory.

• Order and schedule the delivery of repair parts while managing inventory effectively.

• Adhere to company policies to accurately document and complete work orders while maintaining precise records.

• Engage in effective communication with internal dispatch, management, warehouse, and technician teams.

• Provide exceptional customer service by focusing on customer needs, fostering and maintaining positive relationships, and collaboratively creating and implementing solutions with customers.

• Consistently uphold a professional and tidy appearance, ensuring that the service vehicle is clean and well-organized.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment.

• Knowledge of basic electrical concepts, including amperage, voltage, and resistance, along with the ability to interpret basic equipment schematics.

• Competent in understanding, reading, and utilizing a multimeter.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts.

• Familiarity with basic tools and the use of a multimeter.

• Basic knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications.

• Possession of a valid Driver’s license.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency in responsiveness.

• Capability to adapt to workplace environments and organizational changes.

• Must be reliable, dependable, punctual, have good attendance, and be conscientious about product performance.

• Ability to lift and move heavy restaurant equipment as required.
