This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Complete a thorough training program, lasting approximately three months, which combines both fieldwork and classroom instruction.

• Travel to customer locations within the region.

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate advanced measurement instruments.

• Engage hands-on with cutting-edge CMMs, utilizing both mechanical and electronic skills.

• Record service activities and keep precise service documentation.

• Operate independently while representing ZEISS in a dynamic and innovative setting.

• Travel 70–90% of the time within the region.

• Work in Torrington, Connecticut, and its surrounding areas.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Alternatively, completion of a technical school program, or an associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics.

• Alternatively, relevant training and experience from a Military Technical School.

• Previous experience using hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems is necessary.

• Must be capable of lifting up to 75 pounds without assistance.

• Willingness to work at least 50 hours per week, including regular hours and overtime.

• Ability to function in an industrial production environment.

• A valid driver's license is required.
