This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nevada.
β’ Diagnose, repair, and provide reports on quality and design issues related to Xos vehicles and products.
β’ Collaborate effectively with design, engineering, software, and external partner teams.
β’ Execute low-voltage and high-voltage electrical diagnostics, control functions, and module programming.
β’ Utilize electrical expertise along with various volt-ohm meters.
β’ Apply mechanical knowledge pertaining to commercial truck systems, including motors and harness systems.
β’ Deliver professional customer support in-person, via phone, and through email.
β’ Ensure timely and precise case notes and repair orders; initiate new cases as necessary.
β’ Maintain professional communication with customers both on-site and remotely.
β’ Fulfill training objectives and certifications designated by management.
β’ Undertake additional assigned responsibilities.
β’ Translate customer concerns into actionable technical issues while providing comprehensive cause, root-cause, and corrective-action reporting to enhance production quality and field-fix development.
β’ Travel primarily within the field to service the West Coast, which includes frequent multi-state, international travel, and regular cross-border trips to Canada.
β’ Demonstrated expertise with high and low voltage electrical systems.
β’ Associate's Degree or Vocational Certificate in a field related to automotive service technology, or 4+ years of pertinent experience.
β’ ASE Certifications are advantageous.
β’ CDL Class A or B is preferred.
β’ Competency in Google Suite applications.
β’ Capability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
β’ A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
β’ Ability to meet security clearance requirements and comply with relevant pre-employment conditions.
β’ Legally authorized for international travel and admissible to Canada for business; able to obtain and maintain necessary travel documentation.
β’ Willingness to travel as business needs dictate, typically 60β80% of the time, including overnight stays, weekends, holidays, and outside standard business hours.
β’ Capacity to regularly lift over 50 pounds and work under commercial vehicles while using personal protective equipment, both outdoors and in various weather conditions.
