Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Execute efficient field service operations while adhering to budgetary and scheduling goals.

• Ensure the optimal functionality of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and rectify equipment-related problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Work in partnership with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Conduct installations and make equipment adjustments for TOMRA Food systems as needed.

• Offer comprehensive training to customers on the operation and upkeep of our systems.

• Keep precise and thorough field reports to assist in administrative follow-up actions.

• Execute commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair tasks for food sorting systems, primarily in France.

• Expect approximately 80% domestic travel within northern France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at BAC+2 level in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French and the capability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this position.

• Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Readiness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international trips, and to work flexible hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networks, and computer configurations.

• Possession of a valid driving license.

• Capability to foster and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
