Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Effectively execute field service operations while achieving cost and timeline goals.

• Ensure the optimal functioning of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and fix equipment-related problems, performing necessary repairs.

• Work in collaboration with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Install and calibrate TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer comprehensive training to customers on the operation and maintenance of systems.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to facilitate administrative follow-up procedures.

• Carry out commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair tasks for food sorting systems, primarily in France.

• Travel approximately 80% of the time within the country, mainly in northern France.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at BAC+2 level in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this role.

• Knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Demonstrated experience in preventive and corrective on-site maintenance.

• Openness to traveling up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with some international travel, and the flexibility to work varied hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networks, and computer configurations.

• A valid driving license.

• Capability to foster and sustain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
