Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide effective field service support while achieving cost and scheduling targets.

• Ensure the exceptional performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and address equipment-related challenges, executing necessary repairs.

• Work in conjunction with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Install and fine-tune TOMRA Food equipment as needed.

• Offer comprehensive training to customers regarding the operation and upkeep of our systems.

• Keep precise and thorough field reports to assist with administrative follow-up tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical qualification equivalent to a two-year post-secondary diploma in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related area.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend both spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this position.

• Demonstrated experience in conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on-site.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international travel, and to have a flexible work schedule.

• Solid understanding of IT, networking, and computer setup.

• Valid driver's license.

• Competence in building and sustaining effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
