Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Provide effective on-site field services while adhering to budget and scheduling goals.

• Ensure that TOMRA Food sorting machines operate at optimal levels to surpass customer expectations.

• Identify and resolve equipment issues, performing necessary repairs as needed.

• Work collaboratively with internal teams to enhance customer support processes.

• Execute installations and modifications on TOMRA Food equipment when necessary.

• Deliver thorough training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our systems.

• Keep accurate and detailed field reports to aid in administrative follow-up procedures.

• Conduct commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair activities for food sorting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at French Bac+2 level in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this role.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, primarily within France, with occasional international travel, and the flexibility to work varied hours.

• Solid understanding of IT, networks, and computer setups.

• A valid driving license is required.

• Capability to establish and sustain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
