Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Deliver field service activities efficiently while achieving cost and schedule objectives.

• Ensure the optimal performance of TOMRA Food sorting machines to surpass customer expectations.

• Diagnose and resolve equipment-related problems, executing necessary repairs.

• Collaborate with internal departments to enhance customer support processes.

• Carry out installations and adjustments on TOMRA Food equipment when necessary.

• Offer comprehensive training to customers on the operation and maintenance of our systems.

• Keep precise and detailed field reports to assist administrative follow-up procedures.

• Conduct commissioning, operation, testing, integration, optimization, maintenance, training, and repair activities for food sorting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Technical qualification at BAC+2 level in electronics, electrical engineering, automation, industrial maintenance, or a related discipline.

• Proficiency in French and the ability to comprehend spoken and written English (minimum B2 level) are crucial for this role.

• Additional languages are considered an advantage.

• Demonstrated experience in on-site preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, mainly within France, with occasional international travel, and to work flexible hours.

• Strong understanding of IT, networks, and computer configuration.

• Valid driving license.

• Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and management.
