This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Deliver on-site technical assistance for client projects and manage daily tasks.
• Facilitate both cold and hot commissioning of battery systems.
• Address battery-related performance challenges, which encompass cell and module charging/balancing as well as site equipment operations.
• Assist in the decommissioning of battery systems and sites, involving maintenance, cleanup, disassembly, and equipment removal.
• Represent the EHS directly in the field, ensuring adherence to OSHA and regulatory standards.
• Act as a point of escalation for field service challenges and resolve client inquiries.
• Collaborate with the team to monitor and enhance positive operational metrics.
• Collect and report client feedback to refine service processes.
• Implement and continuously enhance standard operating procedures for service tasks.
• Embrace new tools and technologies to optimize field operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, corporate policies, quality guidelines, and industry standards.
• Complete administrative tasks related to projects, including daily logs and expense reports.
• Travel to assigned job sites and stay until tasks are finalized.
• Manage field tools necessary for assignments and projects.
• Strive for excellence across all operational domains.
• A Technical or Trade degree, High School diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 1 year of experience as a field service technician in electrical power generation, renewable energy sectors, or similar fields, along with relevant safety certifications.
• Familiarity with computers and the installation of controls-related firmware and software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
• A continuous learner adept at managing multiple projects and goals.
• Ability to adhere to directions and fulfill tasks as promised.
• Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable.
• Proven achievements showcasing leadership, teamwork, integrity, and accountability.
• Willingness to travel and engage with clients.
• Capacity to regularly lift objects weighing over 50 lbs, and to stand, sit, or kneel for long durations, while working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Requires 75% or more travel to client locations.
