Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Install, maintain, and upgrade postage meters and other mailing and shipping hardware at client locations.

• Diagnose and repair equipment issues.

• Take responsibility for tasks to reduce the frequency of repeat service calls.

• Review job aids and provide training to clients on the correct usage of equipment.

• Keep clients informed about the status during maintenance or system downtimes.

• Enhance skills to service copiers and Smart Lockers.

• Contribute to revenue growth through generating sales leads, selling supplies, and providing billable professional services.

• Travel from home to various customer sites.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in mechanical fields.

• Capability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical or electrical devices.

• Strong client communication abilities.

• Possession of a valid driver's license.

• A clean driving record.

• Access to a reliable vehicle for daily travel to multiple customer locations.

• Capacity to lift or move up to 55 lbs with or without assistance.

• Willingness to work Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime.

• Familiarity with a Windows environment is preferred.

• Basic understanding of PC and networking concepts is preferred.

• Prior experience with automated equipment is preferred.
