This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Install, service, and upgrade shipping and mailing equipment from Pitney Bowes, ranging from inserters to lockers.
• Provide support for both hardware and software solutions.
• Diagnose and repair equipment to minimize client callbacks.
• Educate clients on the operation of Pitney Bowes equipment during the installation process.
• Deliver 100% client-facing service as a representative of Pitney Bowes.
• Manage a multi-zip code territory, which involves considerable travel time.
• Utilize hand tools and small power tools for repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Ensure a safe and organized work environment.
• Offer service to a diverse range of clients throughout their lifecycle and experience.
• Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Capable of lifting 55 lbs or more, with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to travel within a multi-zip code territory, with up to 80% of time spent driving.
• Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or stand for extended durations.
• Complete familiarity with a Windows environment and basic understanding of PC and Networking is preferred.
• Experience with automated equipment is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US; the employer will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable with repairing or troubleshooting both hardware and software solutions.
