Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver installation and training services for primary clients.

• Diagnose issues and resolve them promptly.

• Share information and maintain records utilizing a work computer and phone.

• Provide exceptional customer support.

• Operate ANA service vehicles safely.

• Uphold a professional appearance and adhere to company safety protocols and procedures.

• Enhance professional knowledge through ongoing study of ANA products.

• Travel up to 80% across North America, including both domestic and international travel as required by business needs.

• Regularly visit customers to foster open and honest relationships.

• Offer technical expertise in the repair and training of generators, air compressors, and related equipment.

• Assist in customer development and training initiatives.

• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on product enhancements, new product development, and additions to equipment post-purchase.

• Contribute to a positive team environment on a daily basis.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

• Report directly to the National Service and Training Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the United States within ANA’s Northwest Region: CT, DE, GA, MA, MD, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, VA, VT, WV, FL, IN, KY.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or a similar technical position.

• Preferred: Trade school certification or technical training in engines, mechanical systems, or industrial equipment, or a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related area.

• Familiarity with mechanical and basic electrical systems, including fundamental troubleshooting and diagnostics.

• Comfortable engaging with customers and providing training.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and reporting.

• Capable of reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.

• Strong analytical skills for equipment diagnostics and repairs in the field.

• Willingness to travel up to 80% domestically and internationally based on business requirements.

• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

• Must be able to access and navigate all departments within the organization's facilities.
