This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Conduct timely and precise preventative maintenance on medical equipment within hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Diagnose, repair, and install moderately complex medical devices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications and escalate any concerns, including during installations.
• Manage customer issues from initial dispatch or identification to resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver suitable solutions for customers.
• Oversee installations, validations, maintenance, and service repairs for assigned equipment.
• Utilize customer relationships to enhance contract and on-demand revenue growth.
• Maintain and nurture customer relationships while ensuring prompt communication, resolution, and follow-up.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, hospital protocols, and regulatory standards.
• Record all daily work performed, including metrics, debriefings, and parts ordering.
• Suggest value-added services to customers and/or sales teams.
• Employ the GE HealthCare escalation process and work together with regional and national support to enact corrective action plans.
• Operate independently and deliver Service Excellence to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent military education with 3 years of experience in servicing electronic equipment; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED with 5 years of pertinent experience.
• Proficient technical skills in Nuclear Medicine, including troubleshooting, repair, and installation.
• Must possess and retain a valid Driver’s License.
• Familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to be available after hours and/or participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends.
• Proven capability to manage multiple competing priorities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Capacity to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, and stand for extended periods.
• Capacity to reach at, above, and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, and demonstrate good hand and finger dexterity.
