Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Carry out customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and comprehensive system overhauls.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, communicating in a friendly, helpful, and engaging manner.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns, addressing issues proactively.

• Travel frequently and drive for several hours each day.

• Work on a rotating schedule that includes weekends, holidays, mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

• Lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Engage in physical activities such as bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and repetitive grasping and manipulation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiar with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification is preferred.

• One or more years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Successful completion of applicable employment screening criteria.
