Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner.

• Provide service for electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.

• Serve as the initial point of contact for customers.

• Engage with customers in a friendly, open, and supportive manner.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns, addressing issues proactively.

• Complete formal training to deliver necessary solutions to customers.

• Service or replace networking equipment, such as access points or switches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate preferred for the specific geographic area.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years required.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, with basic electronic knowledge and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Willingness to travel frequently, including driving several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexibility for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. independently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, and manipulate objects repetitively.

• Willingness to train on and operate small-scale scissor lifts in retail settings.
