Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Maintain and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and system overhauls.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.

• Engage with customers to identify issues and deliver suitable solutions.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns while proactively addressing potential issues.

• Complete both formal virtual and hands-on training programs.

• Collaborate with mentors, educators, and coaches across various service territories.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient PC skills, basic electronic knowledge, and familiarity with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving for several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexibility for various shift schedules, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, as well as some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, work with hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects.

• Willingness to receive training on and operate small-scale scissor lifts.
