Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Conduct customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and on time.

• Service electromechanical devices, such as self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Execute maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and system overhauls.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers.

• Engage with customers to identify and deliver suitable solutions.

• Organize and prioritize customer issues effectively.

• Address potential problems proactively before they arise.

• Complete formal NCR Voyix training to fulfill customer requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate within the specified geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronics, and familiar with certain hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving for several hours daily.

• Availability for rotating shifts and weekend work.

• Flexible shift scheduling, including morning, afternoon, evening start times, and some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capable of bending, squatting, walking, standing, sitting, reaching, and using hands to grasp and manipulate objects repetitively.

• Eagerness to be trained on and operate small-scale scissor lifts.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification is preferred.

• One or more years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Employment offer is contingent upon successful completion of applicable screening criteria.
