Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Hampshire.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and efficient manner.

• Maintain and service electromechanical equipment, such as self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Conduct maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance tasks, and comprehensive system overhauls.

• Serve as the first point of contact for customers, communicating in a friendly, helpful, and engaging way.

• Organize and prioritize customer concerns while proactively addressing issues.

• Complete formal training to equip customers with necessary solutions.

• Install or replace networking devices, such as access points or switches, in retail settings.

• Develop enduring customer relationships and represent the NCR Voyix brand effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate to a specific geographic region.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronics, and familiar with specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving several hours daily.

• Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends.

• Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including some holidays.

• Ability to carry and lift tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Capacity to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, use hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects.

• Openness to training on and operating small-scale scissor lifts.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, or N+ Certification is preferred.

• One or more years of relevant experience is preferred.

• Employment is contingent upon passing the applicable screening criteria.
