Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +6 more states.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls efficiently and promptly.

• Maintain and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory.

• Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and system overhauls.

• Communicate clearly and effectively to identify and resolve issues.

• Leverage NCR Voyix training to provide the appropriate solution at the right moment.

• Represent the NCR Voyix brand and contribute to the smooth operation of global commerce.

• Collaborate across regions with teachers, mentors, and coaches.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a local candidate from a specific geographic area.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards.

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronic skills, and knowledgeable about specific hardware and operating systems.

• Capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Willingness to travel extensively, including driving for several hours each day.

• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts.

• Flexible shift work, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, as well as some holidays.

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unaided and up to 150 lbs. with assistance.

• Physical capability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, use hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects.

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software.

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, and N+ Certification are preferred.
