Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Travel to client locations to safely repair, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial dehumidification systems.

• Provide service and customer support at client sites.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with all equipment.

• Deliver customer training on standard Munters equipment.

• Submit comprehensive field service reports with technical insights regarding equipment.

• Communicate professionally with clients in person, in writing, and over the phone.

• Promote sales and service related to company equipment.

• Operate independently while utilizing strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of HVAC school or equivalent training.

• Proficiency in English as the primary language.

• 3-5 years of experience in the commercial or industrial HVAC sector, or a combination of relevant work experience and the successful completion of HVAC/R vocational training.

• Willingness to travel extensively (80%) and travel by plane.

• Capability to obtain a CFC Certification within 90 days of hire.

• Experience with HVAC/Refrigeration systems and components.

• Familiarity with PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) is highly preferred.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Basic understanding of electrical schematics.

• HVAC/R experience in commercial/industrial settings.

• Technical skills or completion of trade school.

• EPA Universal/608 certification.

• CFC License.

• Heavy work: Exerting up to 75 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

• Capable of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds using proper lifting techniques.

• Capacity to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours a day.

• Close visual acuity required for preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer terminals, and extensive reading.
