This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee all facets of customer service and client care.
• Independently diagnose and repair high-speed cash-handling machinery.
• Monitor and manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Stay updated on technical and functional advancements related to GLORY equipment.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identify system issues and implement repairs.
• Keep clients informed about the status during maintenance or system downtime.
• Execute machine installations, Engineering Change Notices, system enhancements, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Follow safety protocols and policies diligently.
• Complete mandatory Environmental Health & Safety training.
• Promptly report any job-site accidents resulting in injury or property damage.
• Work independently with minimal oversight.
• Perform tasks at customer locations and provide on-call support when necessary.
• Currently pursuing or have completed professional studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in relevant fields are preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in personal computers, Microsoft Office, network navigation, and email communication.
• Logical troubleshooting capabilities and the ability to identify issues at the PCB or component level.
• Competence in interpreting electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of AC/DC power distribution and both digital and analog circuitry.
• Preferred experience in repairing high-speed paper-handling devices such as check sorters, mail sorters, currency sorters, ATMs, or copiers.
• 3–5 years of preferred technical field service repair experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods, as well as frequently kneel, bend, squat, sit, and twist.
• Must be available to work at customer sites, including financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail establishments.
• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays on a rotational basis.
• Availability for an on-call rotation, typically once every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be able to travel to customer locations during working hours.
• Occasional travel outside the assigned territory, including air and overnight travel, may be required.
• Ability to manage limited accessibility at job sites.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
