This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Oversee all elements of customer service and support.
• Diagnose and repair high-speed cash-handling machinery.
• Monitor and manage inventory of parts and tools.
• Keep up-to-date with technical and functional advancements in GLORY equipment.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Identify system issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Keep customers updated during maintenance or system outages.
• Carry out machine installations and process Engineering Change Notices related to system upgrades.
• Execute hardware and software upgrades, including seeking technical assistance when necessary.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
• Finish mandatory Environmental Health & Safety training.
• Promptly report job-site injuries and property damage.
• Report directly to the District Service Manager.
• Currently pursuing or have completed studies in electro-mechanics, electrical engineering, or possess equivalent work experience.
• Certifications in related disciplines are preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
• Proficient in using personal computers, Microsoft Office, network sites, and email.
• Strong logical troubleshooting skills with the capability to identify issues at the PCB or component level.
• Proficient in reading electrical schematics, logic diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
• Understanding of AC/DC power distribution and digital/analog circuitry.
• Experience in repairing high-speed paper-handling devices; experience with ATMs or copiers is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of preferred experience in technical field service repair.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the designated territory.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Able to sit and/or stand for extended periods, and frequently kneel, bend, squat, and twist.
• Willingness to work at customer locations including financial institutions, casinos, truck stops, recreational parks, and retail shops.
• Availability for rotating weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be available for an on-call rotation, typically every 3 to 5 weeks, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to drive to customer locations during work hours.
• Willingness to travel occasionally outside the assigned territory, including air travel and overnight stays.
• Capable of accommodating limited accessibility at job sites.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
