This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain technical products and hardware/software components primarily at customer locations.
• Conduct scheduled inspections, cleaning, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on products within the designated area.
• Evaluate products for proper functionality and address or escalate issues as per established protocols.
• Organize service appointments, complete necessary documentation, and ensure customer satisfaction and understanding of product functionality.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and resolve hardware and software malfunctions.
• Execute repairs at the component level for hardware.
• Clean and calibrate mechanical components as required.
• Install and configure necessary software applications.
• Replenish consumables as instructed.
• Install, relocate, modify, and uninstall hardware and software products as needed.
• Educate and train customers on the proper use and operation of installed hardware and software.
• Engage in hardware and software training programs.
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at achieving set KPIs.
• Support special projects as assigned.
• Required education or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2–4 years of relevant experience or a suitable mix of education and experience in Field Services Mechanical/Electrical.
• Experience in technical repair, break-fix services, or similar roles.
• Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet criteria.
• Proficiency in PC usage and familiarity with relevant tools and techniques.
• Preferred product knowledge in the relevant industry and foundational ITIL skills.
• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1–2 weeks.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy items, remain standing for extended periods, as well as climb, bend, and stoop while handling equipment.
• Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to various weather conditions.
• Flexibility regarding shift changes, including on-call duties during evenings and weekends.
• Outstanding customer service abilities.
• Competence in organizing and managing truck stock, parts, and tools.
• A sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Must be able to pass MVR, background, and drug screenings when necessary.
• Prior experience as a Firstline Service Technician is preferred.
• Vocational/Trade School background is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compensation for 1–2 weeks of training in Canton, Ohio.
