Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Install Diebold Nixdorf products and services at customer locations.

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and preventative service activities.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity challenges.

• Diagnose and perform minor equipment repairs.

• Configure and test PCs, peripherals, and related systems.

• Replace faulty components and ensure systems operate correctly.

• Provide technical support and maintenance to clients within the designated area.

• Maintain precise service records and documentation.

• Address customer service requests and solve technical issues.

• Ensure adherence to company protocols, safety regulations, and service-level agreements.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering strong client relationships.

• Assist in the installation, upgrade, and enhancement of banking and retail technology solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong computer literacy and expertise with diagnostic tools and maintenance procedures.

• Capability to lift and relocate heavy equipment and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing, bending, and stooping.

• Willingness to work flexible shifts and participate in evening and weekend on-call rotations.

• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage and maintain inventory of vehicle stock, parts, and tools.

• Strong organizational skills and a professional demeanor.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Must meet background screening and driving record criteria.

• Previous experience in a field service or mobile engineering position is preferred.
