This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Become acquainted with the practices and procedures of Field Service Technicians.
• Diagnose hardware and software malfunctions utilizing diagnostic tools and thorough analysis.
• Conduct repairs at the component level for hardware.
• Clean and calibrate mechanical components.
• Set up and install relevant software.
• Execute preventive maintenance and regular checks according to established procedures.
• Replenish consumables as instructed.
• Install, relocate, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.
• Educate and train customers on the operation and usage of installed hardware and software.
• Engage in hardware and software training through on-the-job experiences, classroom instruction, and online formats.
• Contribute to efforts aimed at meeting agreed-upon KPIs.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.
• Schedule services, complete necessary documentation, and collaborate with customers to ensure satisfaction and understanding of product functionality.
• Required education or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• A valid driver's license and a driving record that meets DN's fleet criteria.
• Proficiency in PC literacy and a solid understanding and application of relevant tools and methods.
• Willingness to attend training sessions in Canton, Ohio for 1-2 weeks.
• Capability to lift and transport heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks such as climbing, bending, and stooping while working on equipment.
• Acceptance of working in outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility in shift work, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Ability to organize and manage truck stock parts and tools efficiently.
• A sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, professional demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Capacity to pass MVR, background, and drug tests as required.
• Preferred knowledge of industry-related products and basic ITIL skills.
• Prior experience as a Firstline Service Technician is preferred.
• Vocational/Trade School background is preferred.
• Paid training for 1-2 weeks in Canton, Ohio.
