Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Determine priorities and schedule service calls.

• Communicate with clients to inform them of the expected arrival time.

• Report issues to higher management and delegate tasks to others as necessary.

• Accurately record service-related data.

• Maintain professionalism with clients to foster positive relationships.

• Perform minor maintenance tasks on ATMs, including replacing bulbs, card reader belts, and air filters.

• Conduct basic installations of cables, devices, and Mas-Hamilton locks.

• Carry out minor technical repairs.

• Adhere to key control, alarm, and combination procedures.

• Assist technicians during preventive maintenance inspections.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware and software failures.

• Execute hardware repairs at the component level.

• Clean and adjust mechanical components.

• Configure and install applicable software.

• Perform preventive maintenance checks and replenish consumables.

• Install, move, add, modify, and remove hardware and software products.

• Train clients on the use of installed hardware and software.

• Participate in hardware and software training, KPIs, and special projects.


⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma required.

• One to two years of experience in technical service.

• Valid driver's license is required.

• Strong knowledge and skills in computer systems.

• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.

• Strong advanced skills in prioritization and follow-up.

• Work with a sense of urgency, demonstrate organizational skills, professionalism, and effective teamwork.

• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must.

• Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

• Flexibility to adapt to different shifts, including on-call rotations during evenings and weekends.

• Ability to organize parts and tools in the vehicle and maintain inventory.

• Capability to operate the company vehicle.

• Successfully pass background checks related to driving records, history, and drug screening.

• Physically capable of lifting heavy equipment over 20 lbs (9 kg) and frequently standing, bending, and using hands and fingers.

• Must be fluent in French.

• Must be able to travel to the United States for training.

• Technical or specialized training is a plus.

• Education or equivalent work experience is required.

• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in Field Services.

• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Driver's license and driving record must meet DN's fleet requirements.
