Field Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Execute customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner

• Maintain and service electromechanical equipment, including self-checkout systems, within a designated territory

• Perform maintenance, repairs, preventive maintenance, and comprehensive system overhauls

• Communicate clearly and effectively as the first line of response to identify and resolve issues

• Utilize NCR Voyix training to provide the appropriate solution at the right time

• Represent the NCR Voyix brand and contribute to the continuity of global commerce

• Collaborate with teachers, mentors, and coaches across territories

⛳️ Requirements

• Local candidate for a specific geographic region

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets NCR fleet standards

• Proficient in PC skills, basic electronics, and familiar with certain hardware and operating systems

• Capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

• Willingness to travel extensively, driving several hours per day

• Availability for rotating and weekend shifts

• Flexibility for shift work – rotating shifts within designated teams, including morning, afternoon, and evening start times, as well as some holidays

• Ability to lift and carry tools, parts, and equipment weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted, and up to 150 lbs. with assistance

• Capability to bend, squat, walk, stand, sit, reach, use hands, and repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of various sizes

• Familiarity with large servers, mainframe computers, and imaging software is preferred

• A+ Certification, CompTIA, and N+ Certification are preferred

• One or more years of relevant experience is preferred
